Robert Kyle Bendfeldt, 57, passed away peacefully in his sleep after complications due to stroke on Monday, February 12, in Annapolis, Maryland. He was surrounded by his loving family.
Kyle is survived by his adoring wife of 23 years, Lisa; his two loving daughters Samantha and Gabriella; his father Carl; his brother Eric and his wife Mary; his sister Debbie and her husband Ray; his sister Terri and her husband Allen; and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. Kyle was a kind, selfless, caring husband, father, son, brother, and friend to all of those around him.
Kyle graduated from Florida Southern University in 1982, where he studied finance and played on the golf team. He worked as a beloved employee of Northrop Grumman for the past 31 years, where he served as a Director of Business Management. Kyle enjoyed going on walks with his dog Niko, vacations at the beach, and playing golf in his spare time. But beyond all else, Kyle loved spending time with his family. Family meant everything to him, and his wife and daughters were the light of his life. He was very proud of the young women his daughters had become and was excited to see them both graduate from college.
Kyle was a man of great integrity and will be dearly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A special thank you to Hospice of the Chesapeake for their loving care and support.
