Nathan A. Ford was born in Lafayette, Louisiana on December 6, 1992 to his parents Cartina Kentrial Moore and LaShaun Evette Wright.

Nathan A. Ford affectionally known as “Black” was full of life and had a smile that brightened up the room. He was bold, outspoken and often the life of the party. He loved to dance and listen to a variety of music from different artists such as “Knew Era” and “Lyfe Jennings”.

Nathan spent the majority of his free time playing video games, watching movies, sleeping, talking on the phone and spending time with family & friends (particularly his girlfriend “Meme”). He also loved to eat. His favorite foods were his mom’s “chicken spaghetti”, crab legs, fish, and Meme’s “chicken florentine” which was made with much love.

Nathan greatly loved his mother, his two siblings, his special little lady “Anna Elise Free” and his grandmothers. Nathan also was very spiritual and he loved God as well. His favorite colors were “black and gold” which were the colors of his favorite football team, the “New Orleans Saints” and he liked the “Philadelphia Eagles” as well.

Nathan graduated from high school on March 9, 2010 and later graduated from the Louisiana National Guard Youth Challenge Program as a Cadet on March 20, 2010. Nathan was later employed at the Fort Meade Commissary on November 4, 2016, where he served in the Deli. Nathan also was a member of the Horizon Christian Church where his sister and mother are members.

Nathan leaves to cherish his memory: His mother: LaShaun Evette Wright, of Midland, TX; his father: Cartina Kentrial Moore, of Daingerfield, TX; his sister: Shanequa K.J.
