Lorne David Drury

Lorne David Drury, who went by Dave, a resident of Odenton, Maryland passed away on February 2, 2016 at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie, Maryland. He was 85. Dave was born in Saskatchewan, Canada and was the son of the late Wilfred Roy Drury and Elsie Beryl Monroe Drury.

Dave served our country as an air traffic controller in the United States Air Force. In his later years he worked as a meteorologist for NOAA. He often talked about his time in Antarctica working on a research expedition.

In addition to his parents Dave was preceded in death by his sister Joy.

Dave is survived by three sons, Brian, Bruce and Craig Drury; his wife, Toni Transparenti; his former wife and mother of Brain, Bruce and Craig, Lauretta Eugea Anzalone; three stepchildren, Terri, Kathy and Lou; two sisters, Alice and Carol; two grandchildren, Logan and Brianna and numerous step grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, Maryland 21113 on Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm. Interment services will follow Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, Maryland.
