On June 9, 2017, Lola Gay Price of Odenton passed away at the age of 82. Devoted wife of 40 years to the late William C. Price; beloved mother of Karen L. Walters of Ohio, William C. Price Jr. of Texas, and Dave Price of Odenton; Caring sister of Louise Wright of Florida, Gary Wilson of Virginia, Peggy Owen of Tennessee, and the late Daniel Wilson; cherished grandmother of Jessica Walters, Leslie Nelson, William C. Price III, and Kimberly Welther and great grandmother of Emma and Luke Nelson and Jason and Kolton Welther.
Receiving her Master’s of Education at Bowie State, Gay worked for the Anne Arundel County School System at Maryland City Elementary School. She was a member of The Church at Severn Run. She enjoyed reading, cooking, traveling, but most especially, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
