Julianna Marie Forgrave

Our special angel, Julianna Marie “Jewels” Forgrave, age 12, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Johns Hopkins Hospital due to injuries sustained from being struck by a vehicle.

Julianna was born on April 5, 2007, in Annapolis, MD to parents Shelley Suggs and Joey Ryans. A vibrant, fun-loving child, Julianna was known by her family and friends as full of personality, smart, and carefree. She loved pugs, music, dancing, arts and crafts, drawing, unicorns and her favorite color was purple. Julianna also loved baking, fashion and was an exceptional bookworm. She was especially excited to be a first time aunt to her brand new niece, Mila, born on her birthday this year. She was an honor roll student at Meade Middle School and was loved by her teachers and friends.

Julianna is survived by her mother and step-father, Shelley and Lance Suggs; her father, Joey Ryans; her brother, Sebastian Ryans; her sisters, Brianna, Morgan, Larissa, Caydence, and Savannah Suggs; her grandparents, Bruce and Angela Forgrave, Kathleen and Mike Belford; her great grandmothers, Norma Forgrave, Betty Wehnert, and Gertrude Ryans; her special great aunt and uncle, Sharon “Mom-mom Aunt“ and Mike Fox; her aunts Brandi Forgrave, Angelis Riley, and Jomese Freeman; her uncle Gordo Seeber; her special friends, Laurie, Mark and Brooke Benefiel; and numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will take place at Donaldson Funeral Home in Odenton, MD on Wednesday April 24, 2019. The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and funeral services will follow from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. All are invited. In lieu of flowers, to help alleviate the financial burden placed on Julianna’s family at this difficult time, there is a collection set up to help cover the extensive funeral and hospital expenses.
