Jason Ryan Scott, 35, of Odenton, Maryland, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017. Born on January 25, 1982, in Cheverly, Maryland, he was the son of Beatrice A. Scott and the late Michael J. Scott.
As a child, Jason had a propensity for mechanical engineering, and was particularly interested in building and modifying bicycles. In adulthood, he was a skilled craftsman, working as a contractor in many different building trades and helping all three of his siblings with renovations when they bought their first homes. He had planned on attending college in the fall to earn a construction management degree, with the intention of starting his own business.
He is survived by his children Haley Scott and Michael Scott, his mother Beatrice Scott, his brother Michael Scott, his sisters Kelly Scott and Melissa Scott, his maternal grandmother Joanna Komsa, his sister-in-law Lindsay Carlson Scott, his niece Samantha, nephews Nicholas, John, and Benjamin, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family invites all friends of Jason or the family to attend a memorial service that will be held at Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Sunday, April 2nd at 1:00 p.m.
