Henry Owen Houston, Jr.

Henry Owen Houston, Jr., a resident of Odenton, MD, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at the University of MD Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. He was 82.

Henry was born on October 24, 1934 in Norfolk, VA and was the son of the late Henry Owen Houston, Sr. and Louise Elizabeth Houston.

Henry enjoyed his Air Force Military life of 21 years.  He served two years in Turkey and Japan.  The rest was at Ft. Meade Maryland.  He loved Fox News, Fishing, Camping, Baltimore Orioles / Ravens and the Washington Redskins.  In addition, he loved telling jokes and spending time with his family and friends. 

Henry is survived by his beloved wife, Bernice Houston of Odenton, MD; three loving children, Ronald Charles Houston of Conway, SC, James Lawrence Houston, Sr. of Odenton, MD and Robin Jeng and husband Paul of Eldersburg, MD; devoted brother, James Ashby Houston; five cherished grandchildren, James Lawrence Houston, Jr., Jaime Lauren Pascucci, Jonathan Charles Houston, Lauren Elizabeth Jeng and Brian Owen Jeng; loving uncle to Amy Houston Helm and Jamie Houston Winter. Henry is survived by many loving relatives and family friends.

The family will receive friends at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at the Donaldson Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am. Interment will follow to Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD.
