Deanna T. (Fitz) Jessica

Deanna T. Jessica (Jessie), a resident of Odenton, MD, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016 with her daughter Nancy by her side. She was 80. Jessie was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late Benjamin Anderson Fitz and Wilhelmina Ella Jane (Guiley) Fitz.

Jessie had a passion for Drawing. She started sketching early as a child and developed her skills to the level of an Art teacher. Jessie worked with all mediums to include charcoal, oils, acrylics, and watercolor on rice paper. Her most recent gallery pieces were created using the sketchbook app on her iPAD pro.

Jessie loved Life and Fashion. She was a Beautician, graduate of Fashion Design managing several fashions shows, and a cosmetic specialist. She enjoyed shopping and staying in tuned with the latest trends. She believed your dress should always be sharp and coordinated with a pop of color.

Jessie had an athletic side too. She was a rock diver taught by her Dad, roller skating performer, motorcyclist, golfer, won two taekwondo trophies at age 50; enjoyed rollerblading at age 60. In her 70s, Jessie shifted gears and enjoyed skeet shooting, playing a guitar and writing two murder mysteries – but Jessie was best known for her sweet side as a Dessert Baker.

Jessie had three beautiful children Brandy (deceased), Nancy and Holly. She was an adored Aunt, Great Aunt, and a Great, Great Aunt of her loving nieces and nephews: Abigail and Pat, David Sr., Linda; Ava and Dylan, Lori, Nicole and Michael, Holly and Anthony, Dave Jr., Haley, Zachary; Ethan, Piper, Delila, Christian, Timmy, Elizabeth, Alyssa, Jayce, Jackson and baby girl Charlotte on the way.

All her loving friends and family will miss her. Please plant a peony or an iris come spring in memory of Ms. Jessica.
