On July 16, 2016, David W. Deemer passed away at St. Joseph’s Medical Center at the age of 54. Born in Washington, D.C., David was a resident of Severn. Devoted son of Lester Luke Deemer; loving brother of Michael J. Deemer and his wife Olga of Potomac and Stephen L. Deemer and his wife Stacey of Finksburg, caring nephew and godson of Betty A. Conway, cherished uncle of Andrew and Stephen Deemer. David was predeceased by his mother Kathleen.
A graduate of the University of Maryland, David proudly served as a member of the United States Army for 32 years before working as a contractor. He was a member of the Ft. Meade American Legion. David enjoyed computers, photography, nascar, and was an avid enthusiast of all things related to aviation.
The family will receive visitors at Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, 1411 Annapolis Road in Odenton on Thursday, July 21, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Friday at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org or to the Wounded Warriors at www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
