Welcome to the memorial page for

Brandon David Alexander

October 25, 1992 ~ February 3, 2016 (age 23) 23 Years Old

Brandon David Alexander, a resident of Catonsville, MD, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the age of 23. Brandon was born on October 25, 1992 in Laurel, MD, and was the son of Brian D. Alexander of Catonsville, MD and Vanessa Tolley of Glen Burnie, MD.

Smart, sweet, shy, and handsome with a dry sense of humor, Brandon’s greatest passion was programming, tinkering with computer hardware and software, as well as online video gaming. He was helpful and caring and could easily connect with both young and old. He enjoyed to travel and liked a wide variety of food, especially spicy dishes.

Behind his care-free smile, Brandon suffered from depression and anxiety after his world was turned upside down by the death of his mother’s brother Brad on February of 2009.  He struggled to turn his life around as he battled many challenges since that time with the support of his family.  In recent months, he had renewed hope and happily announced that he was making good progress toward a positive change in his life.

Unfortunately, the worst of a parent’s fears were realized last week by the news that Brandon’s life had ended so suddenly and unexpectedly. While we will no longer be witness to the sadness or feel the worry of his struggles, we will no longer hear the endearing laughter, we will no longer be able to see the sparkle in his eyes or be able to speak of hopes and dreams for his future. We loved our son and will miss him very much as will all of those close to him..

Along with loving mother, father, and step-mother, Wendy Alexander, Brandon is survived by his siblings Kelsey and Christopher Tolley of Glen Burnie, MD, maternal grandparents Darlene Wilson, Ft. Lauderdale, Fl, Ed and Carol Litz, Curwensville, PA and Shirley Tolley, Laurel, MD, Aunts and Uncles Preston and Darce Litz, Erie, CO, Travis Litz, Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
