Anne Marie Tallon of Crownsville, Md., passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2017, at her residence, at the age of 94.  Anne was born on September 8, 1922, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Vincenzo Bacci and Aldegonda (Rossi) Bacci.

Anne was an incredible woman who touched many lives with her tireless enthusiasm, kindness, and generosity to her family, friends, and others in need.  She was not only Mom and Grandma to her immediate family, but was also Mom or Grandma to many acquaintances who respected and admired her.  She was a devout Catholic who attended weekday Mass either at church or via television when she was unable to drive. Anne graduated from St. Alexis Nursing School as a registered nurse in 1944, but continued her education throughout her career to remain current on the latest medical research and nursing procedures.  Nursing was her true calling, and she showed her professionalism and dedication with every patient she helped.  During her 50-year career, she worked private duty, in hospital emergency rooms, in a doctor’s office, and in industry, most recently, with B.F. Goodrich (Ohio) and a subsidiary, Convent Chemical (Louisiana).  After retiring, Anne supported Caryl and Tim’s Army careers, residing with them in the National Capital Region and overseas.

Anne is survived by her daughter, Colonel Caryl (O’Neil) Tallon, USA, Retired; son-in-law, Colonel Timothy O’Neil, USA, Retired; two grandchildren, Barbara McCoy and Domenic DiMauro, Jr.; and six great-grandchildren, Tim, Connor, Madison, Sophia, Isabella, and Nicholas.  She is also survived by two nieces and three nephews, Charlotte Waskielis; Laura Bacci Merhaut; James Dycus; John Bacci; and Jack Bacci; and their children and grandchildren.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, World War II Navy veteran Arthur F. Tallon; daughter, Barbara A. Foreman; brother, Louis J. Bacci; and sister, Mary Dycus; and nephew Louis J. Bacci, Jr.
